“The most beautifully written commentary on the planet”

John Piper has said that John Murray’s commentary on Romans is the “most beautifully written commentary on the planet.” John Murray (1898-1975) was a Scottish Reformed theologian who taught at Princeton only to leave and teach at Westminster Seminary.
