New Credo Podcast: Can We Trust the God of Our Fathers?

This is a series of conversations between major theologians and Matthew Barrett on the doctrine of the Trinity.

In this video, James Eglinton and Matthew Barrett discuss chapter 2 of Barrett’s book, Simply Trinity: The Unmanipulated Father, Son, and Spirit (Baker, 2021). Eglinton and Barrett engage the Nicene Creed, explain why the Fathers chose certain words and concepts to safeguard trinitarian orthodoxy, and connect the dots between the Trinity and worship.

Eglinton and Barrett reflect on their own evangelical experience to help the church and academy return to a biblical and Nicene doctrine of the Trinity today.
