Did the Reformers invent a new teaching? Or were they retrieving old doctrines from the Fathers? In this Crossway interview Stephen Nichols, President of Reformation Bible College, answers these questions and others, introducing us to the way the Reformers drew from the fathers. Nichols is the chief academic officer of Ligonier Ministries and is an editor of the Theologians on the Christian Life series (Crossway) and also hosts the weekly podcast 5 Minutes in Church History.
