Easter Resurrection – The Trinity

Does the doctrine of the Trinity have anything to do with Easter? What does it mean for Jesus to be the Son of God? Matthew Barrett looks to John 5 to explain the relationship between Jesus’s resurrection and the believers’ hope of a final resurrection. Pointing to doctrines such as aseity, simplicity, and eternal generation, Barrett shows that Easter not only demonstrates Jesus’s divinity, but depends on it.
