Fred Sanders
Fred Sanders is a systematic theologian who studies and teaches across the entire range of classic Christian doctrine, but with a special focus on the doctrine of the Trinity. He has taught in the Torrey Honors Institute since 1999, and is an amateur historian of Biola’s institutional history. He and his wife Susan live in La Mirada with their two children, Freddy and Phoebe. They are members of Grace Evangelical Free Church.
Gavin Ortlund
Gavin Ortlund serves as President of Truth Unites, Visiting Professor of Historical Theology at Phoenix Seminary, and Theologian-in-Residence at Immanuel Nashville. He has a PhD from Fuller Theological Seminary in historical and theological studies. His published books include: Theological Retrieval for Evangelicals: Why We Need Our Past to Have a Future; Finding the Right Hills to Die On: The Case for Theological Triage; Retrieving Augustine’s Doctrine of Creation: Ancient Wisdom for Current Controversy; Why God Makes Sense of a World That Doesn’t: The Beauty of Christian Theism, and Anselm’s Pursuit of Joy: A Commentary on the Proslogion.
