Michael Horton invites you to his lecture this November

What is the significance of sola scriptura for the reformers and the church today? Did the reformers create this emphasis or were they retrieving the ancient church’s view of Scritpure? Has the modern church misunderstood this emphasis? These topics are the focus of Michael Horton’s lecture to be delivered November 19, 2024 in San Deigo, CA. He has entitled this Lecture “If Reformed, then catholic: Sola scriptura revisited.” Register here.

Michael Horton is the J. Gresham Machen Professor of Systematic Theology and Apologetics at Westminster Seminary California. He is Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Sola Media, home to White Horse Inn and Modern Reformation.

He is the author of the award-winning books The Christian Faith: A Systematic Theology for Pilgrims on the Way, Christless Christianity, People and Place, and most recently a two-volume work Justification.

Visit the Center for Classical Theology where you can watch last year’s lecture by Carl Trueman. Also, submit a paper for the Scholastic Award and win the works of John Owen and Stephen Charnock.
