In this episode of the Credo podcast, Dr. Matthew Barrett talks with D. A. Carson, emeritus professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and cofounder of The Gospel Coalition. Carson shares his inspiring story of how it all started, how he went from studying chemistry to studying theology and doing pastoral works. Carson also shares how his father’s humble ministry kept him from being seduced by triumphalist theology. Carson reflects further on why he receives hate mail from missionaries to Muslims. In addition, he shares his missionary mindset, always eager to evangelize and talk about the gospel in a postmodern culture. Join D. A. Carson and Matthew Barrett for an inspiring journey into his life as a theologian.
