Ask The Experts: Why is a Proper Understanding of the Trinity Essential?

According to Matthew Barrett, “As Christians we have no higher calling then to contemplate and know who our God is.” To that end, Credo Magazine is happy to partner with Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and share a recent episode of Ask the Experts, featuring our own Dr. Barrett. In order to know who God is, we must know Him as He has been revealed to us, namely as the Triune God of the Bible. In so doing, our worship, our theology, and our faith will be enriched.

Matthew Barrett is Research Professor of Theology at Trinity Anglican Seminary. He has been appointed the McDonald Agape visiting scholar at Dominican House of Studies and the Thomistic Institute. He is the founder of Credo. He is the author of award-winning books like Simply Trinity and On Classical Theology. Currently he is writing a Systematic Theology with Baker Academic.
