David S. Dockery (PhD, University of Texas) is the chancellor of Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois, following five years as president. He is a much sought-after speaker and lecturer, a consulting editor for Christianity Today, and the author or editor of more than thirty books including Christian Higher Education: Faith, Teaching, and Learning in the Evangelical Tradition, Shaping a Christian Worldview: The Foundation of Christian Higher Education, and Life, Marriage, and Religious Liberty: What Belongs to God, What Belongs to Caesar. Dockery and his wife, Lanese, have three sons and seven grandchildren.
