Dr. Kevin J. Vanhoozer (PhD, Cambridge University) is Research Professor of Systematic Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where he has served intermittently for over 20 years. He has also served as Blanchard Professor of Theology at Wheaton College and Graduate School (2008-11) and as Senior Lecturer in Theology and Religious Studies at New College in the University of Edinburgh (1990-98). He is the author and editor of numerous volumes including Is There a Meaning in this Text?: The Bible, the Reader, and the Morality of Literary Knowledge, Dictionary for Theological Interpretation of the Bible, The Drama of Doctrine: A Canonical-Linguistic Approach to Christian Theology, Faith Speaking Understanding: Performing the Drama of Doctrine, First Theology: God, Scripture, and Hermeneutics, and Biblical Authority after Babel: Retrieving the Solas in the Spirit of Mere Protestant Christianity.
