Welcome Jessalyn Hutto
We are pleased to welcome an additional contributor to our blog, Jessalyn Hutto. Jessalyn writes on a daily basis at Desiring Virtue and has developed an influential voice especially on matters of marriage, womanhood, the family, and parenting. So if you are a wife and mother (or a husband and father!), we hope you will tune in to the Credo blog and listen to Jessalyn share some of her wisdom. We are excited to have Jessalyn contribute and hear her bring the gospel to bear on these important areas of the Christian life.
Here is a little about Desiring Virtue:
Desiring Virtue is a blog for women who desire to know their God better and to see their lives transformed by his amazing grace. My greatest desire is to encourage your soul to trust in the grace of our Lord and Savior, not only for salvation, but for the the strength to daily live a Christ-exalting life. I believe that in every instance, the Scriptures point to the saving work of Jesus Christ, and that they sufficiently provide the grace necessary to live out the new life found in him.
The focus of this sight is the glorious Gospel and our glorious God. It is written for women who desire to take the truths of Scripture and apply them to their every day life. For that reason posts here will range from theological discussions and meditations to the more practical outworking of that theology on topics that affect women such as marriage, motherhood, the home, the single life, miscarriage, abortion, and more. Book reviews and recommendations to stimulate spiritual growth are also commonly posted here at Desiring Virtue.
