Thomas Schreiner talks about commentaries, the gospel, and much more

What commentary should I use when preparing for a sermon? What kind of commentaries are the most helpful? Why is Scripture so important for ministry? Is there a beauty to the biblical text? How does the Bible transform our lives and churches? How primary should the gospel be in our lives?

In this interview, Daniel Patz discusses these questions and others with Thomas Schreiner. Schreiner is James Buchanan Harrison Professor of New Testament at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Among his many books are RomansPaul, Apostle of God’s Glory in Christ: A Pauline Theology, New Testament Theology: Magnifying God in Christ, Magnifying God in Christ: A Summary of New Testament Theology, and Galatians.
