Timothy George on Augustine, Time, and Christ (Matthew Barrett)

There are certain theologians and historians I always read. Why? Several reasons. (1) They are gifted by God in speaking and writing. (2) They are theologically and historically insightful in ways others are not. (3) They are able to show how ideas have consequences. For me, one of these theologians is Timothy George. Every time I read him I find myself thinking hard about what he is saying, as well as wishing I could say things as well as he does. So today I thought I would pass on a lecture he gave on Augustine and the Mystery of Time at Dallas Theological Seminary. This lecture should, I hope, motivate you to read Augustine for yourself.
