God’s outlaw: William Tyndale

Who was William Tyndale? Why was he hunted down for translating the Bible into English? Why was Tyndale willing to be martyred to translate the Bible into the vernacular. In this Crossway interview Stephen Nichols, President of Reformation Bible College, answers these questions and others, introducing us to the life of Tyndale. Nichols is the chief academic officer of Ligonier Ministries and is an editor of the Theologians on the Christian Life series (Crossway) and also hosts the weekly podcast 5 Minutes in Church History.

Come back each day as we will be posting a different interview with Nichols on the Reformers. If you enjoy these interviews, be sure to read the most recent issue of Credo Magazine, “The English Reformation.”
