La Réforme: Celebrating the French Reformation on the Quincentennial of Pierre Viret (1511–71)

This past fall at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Michael A.G. Haykin and The Andrew Fuller Center hosted a conference by the title: La Réforme: Celebrating the French Reformation on the Quincentennial of Pierre Viret (1511–71). The conference was offered in partnership with Refo500. And as the title reveals, the conference focused on the sixteenth century reformer Pierre Viret. However, Dustin Benge also gave a lecture on Calvin’s prayers and Shawn Wright gave a lecture on the pastoral vision of Theodore Beza. The audios to this conference are have now been made available! Here they are:

Introduction by Michael Haykin (MP3)

Pierre Viret and the Politics of Piety by Paul Roberts (MP3)

John Calvin and His Prayers by Dustin Benge (MP3)

The Pastoral Vision of Theodore Beza by Shawn Wright (MP3)

Keep your eye out as later this January Paul Roberts will be writing for Credo a series of blog posts introducing us to the life, ministry, and writings of reformer Pierre Viret.
