Is God Selfish to be Jealous for His Own Glory?

If a man were to seek his own glory, then we would label him selfish or arrogant, so how can God avoid this accusation when he seeks his own glory? If we should not promote our strengths, then should God avoid doing the same? How could an action be selfish for one person but selfless for another?
